The Chiasso border post was Nephos's first pilot installation in a customs environment. Staffed border crossings expose personnel to outdoor conditions year-round: in summer, during heat waves, customs officers remain on the road with no possibility of shelter.
Nephos installed a fully automatic mist cooling system, adapting to temperature and humidity levels, designed to meet the specific operational and safety requirements of the facility.
