The urban revitalisation project of the Brauiplatz in Hochdorf was led by BNP Landschaftsarchitekten. Nephos was commissioned to realise the Fog Fountain.
A ground-level fog ring with a diameter of 4 metres and 70 high-pressure nozzles. A refreshing, spectacular and playful installation, designed down to the last detail to deliver a striking visual effect while ensuring great structural durability: the system must withstand the passage of trucks and heavy machinery, as well as the crowds during the local carnival. A tangible contribution to heat wave mitigation and climate change adaptation.
Thanks go to the designers, the site management, the hydraulic engineer who expertly resolved the various technical challenges of the project, the Braui Cultural Centre and to the Municipality of Hochdorf for entrusting us with the realisation of this public installation.
